Formal public sex awareness, on the other hand, is not as a distinct being (thinking publicdisgrace substance) to its object and as such relates (real self-awareness does not relate to anything outside itself) to the formal being, where the form of existence is opaque to existence itself. The basic distinguishing trait of a formal being is its opaqueness to the very existence. That which we receive formally as that which is real. What is the essence of that formality? Let us enumerate the belief that each being is something fundamentally different from another publicdisgrace being; the conviction that what exists develops in a linear manner from the past through the present not the future; solely notional understanding of that which is; division into subject and object with all the consequences stemming from this division.
